Ireland and Global Warming

Dick Ahlstrom in the The Irish Times 15th December 2010

It's global warming, but our winters are set to get even colder

This site was set up in 2003 for a bit of craic by promoting Ireland as a venue for the 2026 Winter Olympics. It was also hoped that people stumbling on this site would see global warming and its effects from another perspective.

We have kept the original pages and set up a facebook page to generate discussion and give people the opportunity to put up links relevant to the issues facing Ireland in the context of Global Warming.

  • What do you think Global Warming will do for the future of Ireland?
  • What preparations should be made now to lessen the impact of Global Warming?
  • Is the Irish Government taking Global Warming seriously?

Join our facebook page and have your say.

Offers of help, suggestions and comments would be appreciated and can be sent to michael@mayo-ireland.ie.
